FACUNDO ALMADA ABREU
As an aspiring change-maker, I have had the privilege of participating in the esteemed Youth Ambassador's program, sponsored by the United States Department of State. This immersive three-week program in the United States provided me with comprehensive courses on leadership, diplomacy, politics, and various other subjects. This experience has further fueled my commitment to making a positive impact on a global scale.
Additionally, I have been selected by EducationUSA Argentina to be part of the distinguished "Competitive College Club" program. This exclusive initiative caters to exceptional students in Argentina, offering invaluable guidance and support throughout the process of pursuing higher education in the United States. Through this program, I am equipped with the necessary tools and resources to excel academically and professionally.
In my previous role as Vice President of a prominent Black Lives Matter organization, boasting a membership of 350,000 individuals, I honed a diverse set of skills while actively contributing to the fight against racism and injustice. This experience provided me with invaluable insights into the complexities of social issues and solidified my commitment to promoting equality and justice for all.
With a relentless drive to effect positive change, I am continuously seeking opportunities to further develop my understanding of Economics and Political Science. I aspire to utilize this knowledge to drive policy reform, shape public discourse, and create a more equitable society.
By leveraging my academic background, international experiences, and commitment to human rights advocacy, I am poised to make a lasting impact in the field of Development Economics. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations to champion the cause of social justice and transform our world for the better.
